Jae-Sang Ryu is a professor of college of pharmacy, and an expert in the field of medicinal chemistry and organic chemistry. He got his PhD degree from the department of chemistry, Northwestern Univ. USA, and he finished his post-doc training in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, NY, USA. His research area covers a lead discovery through natural product-mimetic library synthesis, a mechanism-based drug discovery, and anti-allergic drug discovery using peptidomimetic library. He has published a lot of research articles and applied for patents about "anti-allergic drug discovery using peptidomimetics" and "anticancer drug discovery targeting kinase & Hsp90".
