Sangryun Lee is an assistant professor in the Division of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Ewha Womans University. His research focuses on structural mechanics and AI-driven design, particularly in the optimization of mechanical and thermal performance of lightweight metamaterials and lattice structures, as well as nature-inspired structural design. His recent work extends to multiphysics-based optimization with applications in aerospace and robotics. He teaches courses such as solid mechanics, finite element analysis, and mechanical design, with an emphasis on developing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills through a balance of theory and practice.
