Dr See-Young Park received his doctorate from the University of East Anglia in Britain. The main focus of his research is on the influence of Russian writers and thinkersin particular, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Vasily Rozanov, and Lev Shestovon D. H. Lawrence. His research interests also include contemporary writers such as Graham Swift, Ian McEwan, and W. G. Sebald. He teaches English literature in the context of English language teaching as a foreign language. He has published articles on Lawrence in Notes Queries (Oxford UP, June 2004) and many other journals. He also contributed a chapter on Lawrence to Writing the Body in D. H. Lawrence, ed. Paul Poplawski (Westport, CT: Greenwood Press, 2001). And he has published a Korean translation of Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange with a Korean Publisher, Minumsa.
