Jongwoo Jung is a faculty member of Department of Science Education / School of EcoScience / Interdisciplinary Program of EcoCreative, and a scientist studying animal systematics and population genetics. He got Ph.D. from Seoul National University and is now actively doing systematic and population genetic studies on diverse animal groups such as sea slaters, striped mouse, aquatic oligochaetes, etc. He have published 43 papers and wrote books such as <Diversity of Useful Marine Molluscs in Korea: a research guide book for DNA barcode and genetic diversity> (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries) and <Zoological Souvenirs of Chosun> (Seohaemunjip Publishing).
