Dr. Jeonghoon Lee is studying water cycle utilizing stable isotopes and geochemical tracers as an assistant professor at Dept. of Science Education. He received his Ph. D degree in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College, M. S. degree in Hydrogeocheimstry from Seoul National University and B. S. degree in Geological Sciences from Seoul National University. He worked at Jet Propulsion Laboratory at California Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral scholar, focusing on global water vapor isotopes with satellites. At Korea Polar Research Institute, his research interests include the reconstruction of paleoclimate with stable water isotopes. At Ewha, he has been working on problems as diverse as the change of water cycle by ongoing climate change.
