June-Seong Yi is Professor of Construction Engineering and Project Management, in the Architectural Engineering Department at the Ewha Womans University. Professor Yi is an expert on project-based production management and sustainable development in construction industry. He received a Bachelor‘s degree and MS from Seoul National University, and received PhD (Civil and Environmental Engineering) from University of Wisconsin, Madison (USA). Professor Yi's current research topics include Life Cycle Assessment(LCA), prefabricated production system, Pre-Construction Planning, and Safety issues in construction industry.
He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Management (KICEM), BuildingSMART Korea (BSK), and Korea Association of Procurement & Supply Management (KAPSM).
Professor Yi co-authored books entitle 'BIM, the Avatar of Construction' and 'Architectural Standard Specification'.
