Jo Woon Seok is a professor of biological sciences in nursing at the College of Nursing. She received her PhD in biomedical science from Yonsei University College of Medicine and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Moim-Kim Nursing Research Institute, Yonsei University College of Nursing. Her research interests include the pathophysiology of metabolic diseases and the discovery of biomarkers for geriatric diseases (cognitive impairment, senility, etc.). Recently, she is actively conducting research to develop a system for predicting frailty in the elderly and collecting various health data by applying omics.
