Changrim Ahn is a professor of Physics and majoring in the field of theoretical particle physics, quantum field theory and superstring theories, in particular. He received a B.S. from Seoul National university and Ph.D. from Stanford university in 1989. After working in Cornell university in U.S.A. and I.C.T.P. in Italy as a research scientist, he has been at Ewha since 1994. He wrote over 80 SCI papers so far, which have been cited more than 1000 times. He has written a monograph <Quantum sine-Gordon model> and translated <Stairways to the Mind> and <Chance and Chaos> (all from Ewha Univ. Press).
