Joo Chun Yoon, M.D., Ph.D. Assistant Professor Department of Microbiology, College of Medicine I studied human immune responses to hepatitis C virus at the National Institutes of Health (NIH; Bethesda, MD, USA) and Yonsei University (Seoul, Republic of Korea). My current research interests include innate immunity mediated by human natural killer (NK) cells. I am particularly interested in the role of NK cells in antitumor and antiviral immune responses.
