김준수 교수는 화학·나노과학전공 소속 교수로 이론 및 계산 물리화학을 전공하고 있다. 복잡계에서 일어나는 물리화학 현상에 대한 분자 수준의 원리를 밝혀내고자 계산화학 방법을 통한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 최근에는 세포핵 내부의 유전자 구조 변화에 관한 생물리화학 연구와 더불어 얼음 및 고체의 성장에 관한 물리화학 연구를 수행하고 있다. 2009년 미국 위스콘신 주립대학 화학과에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 이후 2011년까지 노스웨스턴대학에서 박사후과정 연구원으로 근무한 뒤, 2011년부터 이화여대에서 재직중이다.
