공과대학 건축도시시스템공학전공 소속 손정욱 교수는 University of Washington의 다학제간 프로그램인 Built Environment에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 건설IT융합 분야에서 선도적인 연구를 수행하고 있다. 스마트건설관리연구실을 운영하고 있으며, 지능통합형 프로젝트 관리 및 융복합적 접근을 통한 도심지역 재난관리 분야의 연구를 중점적으로 수행해 오고 있다. 현재까지 다수의 국제논문을 발표하였으며, 국제학술발표대회에서 최우수논문상 등을 수상하였다.
