허창회(許昌會) 교수

허창회 교수는 대기과학 전공자로서 기후변동 및 기후변화의 관측 자료 분석, 기후모델링 분야를 연구한다. 동아시아 몬순, 북서태평양 및 북대서양 지역에서 태풍 활동 분석 및 예측, 미세먼지 농도 분석 및 예측, 그리고 기후-식물생태 상호작용 등 분야에서 많은 논문을 출판했다.
1994년에 서울대학에서 박사학위를 받았고, 1997년까지 미국 NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center에서 박사후연구원 생활을 했다. 1998년부터 2023년까지 서울대학 지구환경과학부에서 교수로 활동했고, 2024년에 이화여대로 자리를 옮겼다.
