이공주 명예교수

이공주 교수는 약학과 소속 교수로 우리나라 1세대 여성과학자이다. 카이스트에서 석사학위, 미국 스탠포드대 화학과에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 스트레스, 암전이, 혈관신생과 관련된 활성산소종 매개 신호전달체계에 중요한 단백질기능과 작용기전을 규명하는 Proteomics 와 system biology의 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그 결과로 우수 학술지에 100여편 이상 발표하였다. 또한 미국 분자세포생물학회인 ASBMB에서 발간하는 Proteomics 분야의 가장 우수한 학술지인 <Mol Cell Proteomics>의 편집위원으로 5년간 활동하였으며, 연구 이외에도 여성과학기술인 지원을 위해 대한여성과학기술인회 회장으로, 2011년부터 세계여성과학기술인회(INWES)의 회장으로 역할을 하고 있다.
