김선애(金善愛) 부교수

식품생명공학과

김선애 프로필 사진
김선애 교수는 식품공학전공 소속 교수로 주 전공분야는 사람에게 질병을 일으킬 수 있는 위해미생물이다. 고려대학교에서 박사학위를 받고 미국 내 식품안전 연구로 저명한 University of Arkansas의 Center for Food Safety에서 박사 후 연구원으로 재직하며 인류의 건강 및 보건향상의 학문 목표를 달성하기 위한 다각적인 식품안전 연구를 수행해 왔다. 구체적인 연구로 1) 메타지노믹스 연구로, 차세대 염기서열 해독기술 이용한 다양한 시료(인간, 가축, 식품, 환경 시료 등)의 미생물군 유전체(microbiome) 분석 및 생물정보학(bioinformatics) 연구, 2) 사람 및 가축의 장내 균총 연구, 3) 식품 내 위해미생물 제어를 위한 새로운 친환경 기술 개발 및 상업화 스케일 검증, 4) 식품 내 식중독세균의 고효율 신속 검출법 개발, 5) 위해미생물의 생리적·병인학적 특성 연구를 주로 수행하고 있다. 다년간의 연구를 통해 2023년 11월까지 국제전문학회지에 70편의 논문을 게재(H-index: 29) 하였다. 식품의 범위가 방대하고 미생물 연구분야가 다양한 만큼 향후 다양한 분야와의 융합 연구를 수행할 계획이며, 메타지노믹스 연구를 식품안전과 연계하여 실험적 방법을 확립하고 연구를 발전시켜 국내외를 선도하는 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 자세한 연구 분야 및 논문 리스트는 연구실 홈페이지(https://sites.google.com/ewhain.net/fhl)에서 확인 가능하다.
