유진하 교수는 의약화학 전공 분야의 교수로 재직 중이다. 학사, 석사, 박사 학위를 이화여자대학교 약학대학에서 취득한 뒤, 미국 NIDDK (NIH)에서 박사후 연구원으로 재직했다. 2019년 8월부터 2022년 2월까지는 한국과학기술연구원에서 근무했으며, 2022년 3월부터는 이화여자대학교에서 의약화학 분야의 연구를 진행하고 있다. 저분자 화합물의 설계 및 합성 연구를 통해 신약 후보 물질을 개발하는 데 집중하고 있으며, 의약화학 분야의 세계적인 학술지인 Journal of Medicinal Chemistry를 포함하여 SCI(E) 우수 학술지에 50편 이상의 논문을 발표하였고, 다수의 특허를 출원/등록 하였다.
