김명규 교수는 약학대학 소속의 임상약학 전공 교수이다. 서울대학교 약학대학에서 박사학위를 취득하였으며, 효과적이고 안전한 약물사용을 위한 임상약학 연구를 진행하고 있다. 세부적으로는 메타분석과 약물유전체를 이용한 집단약동학 연구, 그리고 빅데이터와 머신러닝을 이용한 약물의 유효성, 안전성의 임상적 평가 분야의 연구를 수행하고 있다. 현재까지 총 35여편의 논문을 SCI 국제학술지에 발표했다.
