김민정 교수는 간호과학 전공으로, University of Illinois at Chicago에서 간호학 석사 및 박사학위를 취득하였다. 노인 만성질환 간호를 중심으로 자가간호, 증상관리, 인지장애 관련 연구를 수행해 왔으며, 노인 만성질환자에서 인지기능과 건강결과 개선을 목표로 생체·행동 결합 멀티모달 데이터 기반 디지털 건강관리 연구를 진행하고 있다.
