조성재(趙性宰) 부교수

조성재 교수는 이화여자대학교 엘텍공과대학 전자전기공학전공 교수로 재직중이다. 서울대학교 전기공학부에서 10 nm급 MOSFET 최적 설계를 주제로 공학사, 동대학 전기·컴퓨터공학부에서 밴드갭 엔지니어링된 3차원 구조의 고집적 플래시 메모리 셀 및 어레이 기술 개발을 주제로 공학박사를 취득하였다. 2009년 일본 산업총합기술연구소(AIST) 츠쿠바 본부에서 교환연구원으로, 2010년 서울대학교 전기·컴퓨터공학부 박사후연구원으로 근무하였다. 2010년부터 2013년까지 Stanford University(CA, Palo Alto)에서 Postdoctoral Researcher로 근무하였다. 2013년 9월 임용 후 2023년 2월까지 가천대학교 전자공학부 교수로 근무하고, 2023년 3월 이화여자대학교 전자전기공학전공 교수로 부임하였다.

주 연구 분야는 나노스케일 반도체 소자 및 집적공정 개발이며, DRAM, flash, RRAM 셀 기술과 이들을 기반으로 하는 multi-function 셀 기술, 뉴로모픽 및 PIM 등 차세대 컴퓨팅 기술, 고속·초저전력 로직 반도체 소자 기술, 4족 원소 기반의 포토닉스 요소 기술, 고신뢰성 초미세 반도체공정 기술 개발 등을 연구의 내용으로 포함한다. 2023년 8월 현재 저널 논문 211편, 국내외 학술대회 논문 325편을 발표하였으며, 대한민국 및 미국 특허 48건을 보유하고 있다. 2010년 서울대학교 반도체공동연구소 도연 논문상, 2011년 대한전자공학회 해동상 젊은공학인상, 2017년 대한전자공학회 반도체소자 및 재료 연구회 학술상, 2021년 과학기술정보통신부 장관상 등을 수상하였다.
