School of Nursing Hosts 2023 Freshmen Orientation

The School of Nursing (Dean Yoonhee Kang) held the orientation for freshemen for the academic year 2023 on Monday, February 20, at ECC's Isambong Hall. The orientation was held in three parts and was attended by more than 100 new nursing students, student government, and faculty members.
The first part was moderated by Vice President Kim Seok-sun, followed by a hymn and Bible reading, a prayer by Religious Commissioner Lee Kun-jung, a welcome speech by Dean Kang Yoon-hee, an introduction of faculty and researchers, an introduction of the School of Nursing, and introduction of the School of Nursing curriculum and learning outcomes.
"Ewha Nursing will support you to fulfill your dreams for the future," said Dean Kang Yoon-hee, welcoming the new students to the School of Nursing, adding, "I hope you will cultivate your qualities as professional nurses and create beautiful memories through Ewha Nursing education.”
Parts 2-3 were organized by the College of Nursing Student Council and hosted by Cho Min-seo and Yoo Si-yeon, representatives of the College of Nursing. The second part of the program provided information on freshman college life and course registration, including student activities, student support programs, and scholarships. The third part included a quiz on the School of Nursing and the promotion of clubs, an introduction to the School of Nursing Student Association, a tour of the Ewha Nursing Simulation Center, and a 'Ticket Finding Race' game around Helen Hall.
