Ewha students’ “BOK is coming” team won the participation award at the Seoul regional preliminary contest for the "2022 Monetary Policy Contest" held by the Bank of Korea. This year, 75 teams from 42 universities from all over the country participated in the contest, which provides undergraduate students with a mock experience in the monetary policy decision process, and 54 teams that went through the preliminary rounds participated in each regional preliminary contest.

The "BOK is coming" team, which won the participation award at the Seoul regional preliminary contest, achieved excellent performance by analyzing the causes and ripple effects of the recent rise in raw material prices to be the "most important issue to consider when deciding monetary policy direction in May." They gave a creative presentation at the regional preliminary contest under the theme of "Deciding the direction of monetary policy in July," in which they come up with the imaginary Korean economic weather center that gives a brief on Korea's economic situation with the aim of price, finance and economic stability.
