Professor Eun-Kyoung Seo, an associate professor in College of Pharmacy, is an expert in Pharmacognosy and Natural Product Chemistry research. Her research is focused on isolation and structure analysis of natural compounds using various spectroscopic methods such as NMR , MS, UV and IR. She performed actively  research projects from NRF(National Research Foundation of Korea) and MFDS(Ministry of Food and Drug Safety) . She has got her Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy at University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997, and since 2011 she is an editor of Archives of Pharmacal Research. She was rhe elected president of Korean Society of Pharmacognosy on 2018. She has been publishing more than 180 research papers in SCI graded international journals, such as Journal of Natural Products, and has more than 20 patents until now.
