Professor Byeongmoon Jeong is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Nano Science, Division of Life and Molecular Science at Ewha Womans University.  He is a well-known scientist for Polymeric Biomaterials Research.  He received B.S from Seoul national University, M.S. from KAIST, and Ph.D. in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah. His research interest is focused on the development of stimuli-responsive hydrogels and their biomedical applications for drug delivery and tissue engineering. Currently, he is serving as vice president of scientific programs in Korean Biomaterials Society, board member of Polymer Society of Korea as well as Pharmaceutical Society of Korea .  He published about 100 SCI papers including Nature and Advanced Materials, Biomaterials, J. Controlled Release, Macromolecules, etc.
