Nam Sook Lee Professor Emeritus
Dr. Lee, Nam Sook is a professor of the department of Life Science/ Division of EcoScience & Interdisciplinary Program of EcoCreative, Graduate School as an authority of the Plant Systematics. Prof. Lee got the MS & Ph.D. degree from Ehwa Womans University and took a post-doc. course in Ohio State University, and worked as a visiting scientist at National Arboretum, ARS. Prof. Lee have published 60 papers on the vascular plants, mainly Lily and Orchid families at the domestic scientific & SCI journals. Her previous books include <All wild flowers bloom>(Joong Ang M&B, 1998)와 <Illustrated Flora of Korean Orchids>(Ewha University Press, 2011) etc. Professor Lee served as a dean of the College of Natural Science and president of the Korean Society of Plant Taxonomists, and serve as a chairperson of the Korean Orchid Society. Prof. Lee offers the course of Plant Diversity, Plant Anatomy and Plant Systematics etc.
