Ilnyun Kim Assistant Professor
Department of History
I am a historian of the modern United States, specializing in the evolution of American liberalism and its international contexts. My PhD dissertation explores how U.S. liberals of the Democratic Party interacted with socialists, nationalists, and progressives in Britain, China, and other parts of the world in the decades following World War II. I received BA and MA from Seoul National University and PhD from the Ohio State University (2019). My works appeared in Modern Intellectual History, Diplomatic History, and other academic journals.
