  Dr. Jongwon Lee is currently an associate professor of Social Studies Education (Geography Education major) at Ewha Womans University, Seoul. Prior to the appointment at Ewha, he was an education fellow for 2005-2006 at the Association of American Geographers, Washington, DC. He received his B.A. (1997) and M.A. (2000) in geography education from Seoul National University, and his Ph.D. (2005) in geography from Texas A&M University. His research and teaching interests are in the areas of geography education including using geospatial technologies and smart media to teach geography, geography textbook development, and fieldwork and active learning in geography.
