김병식(金炳植) 부교수

식품생명공학과

김병식 프로필 사진
김병식 교수는 엘텍공대 식품공학전공 소속으로 서울대학교 농생명공학부에서 식품미생물 안전성독성학을 전공했다. 학위과정 중 시애틀 워싱턴 대학교를 방문해 미생물 상호작용을 공부했고, 학위 후에는 시카고 노스웨스턴 대학 의대에서 Research Associate로 재직하며 세균 단백질 독소의 작용기전과 미생물-숙주 상호작용을 연구했다. 이후 한국생명공학연구원에서 세포생물학/면역학/단백질 구조적 측면에서 세균 독소에 관한 융합연구를 수행했다. 주된 연구관심분야는 미생물 상호작용, 박테리오파지, 미생물 단백질 독소, 독성인자 발현 조절 등이며, 이를통해 식품안전성을 확보하고 마이크로바이옴을 개선하는 방법을 탐구 중이다.
