[DEGREE-SEEKING] Changes in Required and Core Courses

This notice is for international students(* Enroller with Special Enrollment Admission type for Foreigners, both of the student’s parents are foreigners) who matriculated in 2013 and later.

You must refer to the registration guide for international student (2014 Fall) regarding changes in required courses and Korean courses before you register courses this semester.

 

Important changes _ Applies to international students matriculated in 2013 and later

 

 

1)   Undergraduate International Students1), who matriculated at Ewha since 2013 can substitute 고전읽기와 글쓰기-Reading Classics & Writing, if the student has completed one of the following courses (~ ):

i.     한국어IV- Korean Language Level 4, only when it is credited 6 points

ii.    학문목적한국어I - Academic Korean 1

iii.   학문목적한국어II - Academic Korean 2

 

1) International Students denote enrollers with Special Enrollment Admission type for Foreigners, both of the student’s parents are foreigners.

 

-『한국어IV-Korean Language Level 4can only be substituted if the student takes the course from 2014-2 semester.

- This rule will be retroactively applied for Academic Korean 1(6 credits) and Academic Korean 2(6 credits) completed during semesters of 2013-1, 2013-2 or 2014-1.

 

2)   Core Courses

-     If an Undergraduate International Student1), who matriculated in 2013 and later, completes Liberal Arts Course(일반교양) English lectures offered by Korean Studies department, it will be recognised as completion of core courses. Korean Studies department on Ewha Global Online (EGO) are not recognised as such.

3)    Completing『한국어IV-Korean Language Level 4will be given 6 credits from 2014-2 semester.

List
