The Office of Research Planning is responsible for the planning to analyze the research
performance of our university and to improve the performance.

The Office develops and operates the various support programs such as support of
manpower, the research papers published in national/international academic journals,
academics books, hosting and participation in international academic conferences, seed-
money for attaining large external research projects to promote the faculty’s research
activities.

Research Planning Team also reviews the establishment and abolishment of research
institutes, and is in charge of evaluating, supporting the institutes for research activation.

The Office of Research Management gives comprehensive services to internal researchers up on all aspects of research administration to the complicity of the intramural and extramural research projects, application, agreement, grant enforcement, the report submitted to funding agencies so that they can concentrate on the research projects.

To this end, the office provides guidance and materials for various research support projects and works on behalf of the research applications and agreements. And Research Management Team manages and operates the central management system of research funding and research & development credit card system for efficient and transparent grant enforcement requested by funding agencies such as government departments and agencies, and government-funded institutions, public institutions, and industry.
