Scranton College was established in 2007 to cultivate global professionals who will lead the knowledge-based society of the 21st century. At Scranton College, there are two divisions: one is the Scranton Honors Program (SHP), an interdisciplinary academic program integrating several important subject areas, and the other is the Division of International Studies (DIS), an interdisciplinary program focused on training international professionals.

The Aim of Education

Through well-organized elective courses, Scranton Honors Program cultivates multitalented and creative students. By offering a more advanced education in major courses, the Scranton Honors Program leads students through various fields of study in order to guide them in acquiring professional skills that the future information society demands and skills such as sophisticated analytics and communication techniques.
