Ewha Center for Entrepreneurship, selected for ‘Establishment Project of sharing video conference room’ by the Ministry

Ewha Center for Entrepreneurship (Director: Professor Jin-Kyu Rhee) is selected for the 2020 Establishment Project of sharing video conference room,’ hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups(MSS).
As part of helping local small and medium-sized companies in the COVID-19 era, the project will provide the companies with video conference rooms by the end of this year so that they can keep business online and promote digitalization.
As the center is selected for the project, Ewha Womans University and its institutions such as the Seoul Hospital will be equipped with the following hardware and software that is needed for video conferencing and smart work booths: display screens, beam projectors, cameras, and electronic blackboards.
Ewha Center for Entrepreneurship has provided startups with funds needed for technology development and places to start business. As the center is selected for the project, it is expected the new video conference rooms will help businesses to improve their sales. In addition, the medical, bio-hub industry-academic cooperation platform linking Sinchon, Mokdong, and Magok is expected to play a more crucial role.
The video conference rooms will be built by the end of this year, and it is expected that not only tenant companies but also other local SMEs will be able to use the infrastructure and get help from the center starting next year.
