[Academic] Guide to applying for manual registration for College English/Advanced English courses

This is a guide on how to apply for manual registration for College English/Advanced English courses.
1. Subject for manual registration:
Manual registration is possible for students who are first takers of College English/Advanced English only. (Students who want to re-take the course can register through Summer/Winter Session only.)
- 1) Credit registration students (who only have College English (or Advanced English) course left to meet the graduation requirement.)
: students who register courses after the expiration of the course years
- Course years: Four years (eight semesters) (※ five years (10 semesters) in the case of the five-year Architecture design course, and six years(12 semesters) in the case of the six-year College of Pharmacy course.)
- 2) Students who have been on a leave of absence from school on the designated semester of their required course and returning to school this Fall semester (It should be right after they come back from a leave of absence. If there are no College English classes for your college in returning semester since it is not the designated semester, you can apply for manual registration the very next semester.)
- 3) Transfer students
- 4) Students who changed their major/department where Advanced English was optional (or College English was not required) to required.
- 5) Students who are readmitted to school
※Students who do not fall under one of the above cases are not eligible for manual registration.
During All-Year Registration Period AND Registration Confirmation/Change period, the remaining seats are open to all students.
Students who are eligible for manual registration should also try their registration during the above-mentioned period and only when there aren’t any remaining seats after the registration period can they submit the application form.
- All-Year Registration Period (Only Advanced English is applicable.): 2.8 (Wed) 13:00 ~ 2.9 (Thu) 23:59
- Registration confirmation and change period (College English and advanced English are applicable.): 3.2 (Thu) 09:00 ~ 3.8 (Wed) 15:00
※ Classes will be assigned according to student’s major/department.
※ Information on Advanced English class (10099-02)
Students who have completed more than 6 semesters of any department can register for this course.
(During All-Year Registration Period and Registration Confirmation/Change period, the remaining seats are open to all students.)
2. Application method
Fill out the attached application form and submit it to GLEO via email (epo@ewha.ac.kr).
3. Period for submitting application forms
1st: 2.8 (Wed) 9:00 ~ 2.10 (Fri) 9:00
2nd: 2.22 (Wed) 9:00 ~ 2.23 (Thu) 9:00
4. Notes:
- The course schedule should not overlap with other classes.
- 3 credits should be available for course registration.
-The course cannot be withdrawn once the manual registration is completed.
