Ewha Ranks Third in 2022 National Customer Satisfaction Index for Private Universities


In the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey conducted and published by the Korea Productivity Center, Ewha Womans University ranked third place for the second consecutive year in the category of private universities in Korea, establishing itself as one of the top universities in student satisfaction. 

The NCSI is a satisfaction index that is directly evaluated by customers with firsthand experience of a product or service, and is widely recognized for its representativeness and reliability. In this year’s survey, Ewha scored 77 points, tying for third place with Korea University after Sungkyunkwan University and Hanyang University. As such, Ewha maintained its place at the top echelon of the rankings, listing third place in 2019, second in 2020, and third in 2021 and 2022.


Ewha was able to provide quality education services as it provided a state-of-the-art education system and environment through preemptive preparation for rapid changes in the educational environment due to trends such as digital transformation and COVID-19. Furthermore, as part of its efforts to implement the Ewha Safe Campus Project, it has smoothly managed its academic affairs to prioritize the health and safety of its members by operating the Ewha Safe Station, a standing testing clinic for COVID-19, and widely expanding psychological counseling and treatment support for students.


In addition to establishing a quality educational environment, Ewha has built solid consensus and support from its students in terms of pursuing its school values, including the school vision of leading “sustainability,” making social contributions through women's education and fostering female leaders, assisting the socially disadvantaged, and creating an eco-friendly culture. Furthermore, Ewha was recognized for its multifaceted efforts to support employment and start-ups, which are areas of keen personal interest for students.


Ewha has established and promoted “Ewha Vision 2030+” under the vision of “A Creative and Innovative Platform Leading to a Sustainable Society.” In particular, it has strived to strengthen support for AI-based future career planning that is customized for students and to create a safe and friendly campus environment with the aim of discovering outstanding individuals and enhancing satisfaction among enrolled students. Ewha will continue to improve the satisfaction of students by strengthening the solidarity among the student body and implementing various programs that help students to enjoy a happy school life.
