Hunmin Kim Professor Emeritus
KIM Hunmin is a professor in the Department of Public Administration and an adjunct professor of Scranton Honors Program. She is a specialist in urban policy and planning. She graduated from the Wellesley College, USA, and earned a Master’s and a PhD degrees from Harvard University. She was the Dean of Scranton College and the first woman President of the Korean Association for Policy Studies. She has been invited as a visiting fellow from Harvard University, University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Sciences Po in Paris, and Bocconi University in Milan. Her research interests are urban governance, public sector innovation, global cities, and conflict management. Her publications include Innovation for Metropolitan Governance, Approaches and Means of Innovation in Korean Local Government, Monitoring and Inspecting Public Projects through Ubiquitous Citizen Participation, The Impact of Creative Industries and Workers on Urban Employment Competitiveness, The Process of Conflict Resolution in Public Project Disputes, and many others.
