박은미 프로필 사진
Prof. Eun-Mi Park received Ph.D. in Pharmacology at Medical College of Ewha Womans University in 1999 after she got the certification of specialty in neurology. She joined department of neurology of Weil Cornell Medical College as a post-doctoral fellow under the guidance of Drs. Sunghee Cho and Costantino Iadecola from 2000 to 2004. Prof. Park has been appointed as a faculty of department of pharmacology at Medical College of Ewha Womans University since September 2004. The main research theme of Prof. Park is related with molecular biological changes in the brain after experimental ischemic stroke of mice, and she focuses on the mechanisms of tolerance induction, estrogen effects, aging process and BBB permeability. Prof. Park is recruited as a research memeber to Tissue Injury and Defense Research Center (TIDRC) which is supported by National R&D grant by the Korean government to 2019. During recent 5 years, 12 papers from the lab of Prof. Park have been published in Neuroscience field of SCI journals, and 2 of them are published in 'Brain structure & function' and 'Brain Behavior and Immunity' in 2014, respectively.
