Seung Jin Lee Professor Emeritus

Seung Jin Lee is a professor of department of pharmacy at the Ewha Womans University since 1987. He received Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics from University of Utah in 1987. Based on his 30-years' research career, he is an internationally known expert on tissue-engineering biomaterials, implantable/targetable drug delivery systems. He has conducted more than 20 R&D projects supported by korean government. He has published more than 150 papers and  has 60 patents and 2 pending applications in the field of health industry. He currently serves as the president of Korea Controlled Release Society, the expert advisory committees of Korea Research Foundation, KFDA and Ministry of Health and Welfare and an editorial board member of Journal of Controlled Release and Pharmaceutical Research. He is an Korean PI of international collaborated R&D program supported by funds from the Japan/China/Korea so called A3 Foresight Program to achieve synergistic regenerative outcomes by converging the core technology.
