Jeong-Weon Wu Professor Emeritus

Dr. Jeong Weon Wu is a professor of physics at Physics Department with a major research on nonlinear optics and ultrafast spectroscopy. He received Ph.D. degree from University of Pennsylvania, USA, and the current research topics include photonic crystals and metamaterials. From Jan. 2014 he serves as the president of the Optical Society of Korea, and he authored over 80 SCI journal papers. He has a publication of Korean translation of Jacob Bronowski’s <Science and Human Values> (Ewha University Press).
