Kong-Ju-Bock Lee Professor Emeritus

Kong-Ju-Bock Lee has been a Professor of Physics since 1992. After undergraduate studies at EWU, she received a Ph.D. in Theoretical Solid State Physics from Temple University in the USA in 1989. From 2007 to 2010, she served as a Director General of National Institute for Supporting Women in Science and Technology in Korea. She is currently a member of the Korean Physical Society Council, member of the Committee on S&T Policy in the National Science & Technology Council, and an outside-director of Donga Science. Her recent research interests span over theoretical approach to biological systems, acoustic metamaterials, and policy development on future human resources.
