  Professor Youngmin Lee had finished bachelor’s and master’s degree at Dept. of Geography Education of Seoul National University, and got doctoral degree at Dept. of Geography and Anthropology of Louisiana State University. While working as a professor in charge of human geography at Dept. of Social Studies Education, he has been publishing more than 50 articles dealing with the relations between culture and geography in the framework of post-isms, the reconstruction of region and place according to global migration, and further with the issues of human lives on the social environment. He has also wriiten the book, ‘Cities and Architectures in the World’, and published the translated books, ‘Geographies of Postcolonialism’, ‘Cultural Geography: A Critical Dictionary of Key Concepts’, ‘Migration’, and ‘Understanding Cultural Geography: Places and Traces’. He has now worked as the president of Korean Urban Geographical Society since 2014,
