Yanghee Nam, a faculty of digital media division of Ewha Womans University, receives her Ph.D from the Computer Science Dept. of KAIST with human gesture-based interface as the first 'Vritual Reality' major research in Korea. Since then, she served as a research fellow in EPFL(Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne, Swiss) and ATR international (in Japan). She also served as a committee in the User Interface Sector of Korean Standard Association, and in the Robot Industry Policy Forum, and as a CT(Culture Technology) Vision committee of Korea Creative Content Agency. She is currently vice-president of Korea Computer Graphics Society and HCI Society. Her research encompasses Augmented Reality, Smart HCI in engineering side,  and Mobile Interactive Art and Digital Humanities applied to storytelling, smart education, art therapy. In this way, as her vocation, Yanghee pursues embracing art, design and humanities on the basis of information technology.
