Harvard Model Congress Asia 2023에 본교를 대표하여 하버드대학교에서 주최하는 컨퍼런스에 참여할 본교생(학부 재학생)을 아래와 같이 선발하오니 많은 지원 바랍니다.

Harvard Model Congress Asia 2023 소개 및 학생단 역할 Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA) is a government simulation conference run entirely by Harvard students who are passionate about international relations, government, and teaching since 2004. We are happy to announce that Ewha Womans University will host HMCA 2023 from January 7-9, 2023. At the core of its educational mission, HMCA offers students the opportunity to assume roles as Representatives, Senators, and other international member states through its immersive debate committees. For the first-time ever, HMCA is offering 10-25 students at Ewha Womans University the opportunity to participate in a collegiate student committee. In this committee, students will be assigned roles in an international organization and conduct research to debate for their preferred solutions at the conference. Students will also have access to various preparation materials ahead of the conference, including two 10-15 paged briefings and resources on parliamentary procedure. Selected students will also have to submit a 2-3 minute video, called a pre-conference assignment, to their Harvard University staffers a few weeks before the conference. After three days of thorough debate, cooperation, and hard work, each conference delegate will leave with increased confidence and leadership skills, a profound understanding of foreign relations, improved public speaking skills, a better mastery of English speech-making, and the ability to find common ground among disparate views. Ⅰ. Harvard Model Congress Asia 2023 컨퍼런스 시작 전 의무사항
1. HMC 웹사이트를 통해 향후 제공될 브리핑 자료 숙지
2. 각자 부여될 역할에 따라, 현 실정에 맞는 정책안 마련을 위한 개별 연구 수행
3. Pre-conference 과제 완료
* 컨퍼런스 중 주어진 주제에 따라 각 역할에 따른 토론 진행
Ⅱ. Harvard Model Congress Asia 2023 학생단 모집 요강
1. 지원 자격
1) 본교 학부 재적생(휴학생도 지원 가능)
2) 누계 평점 3.0 (4.3만점 기준) 이상
3) 2년 이내 취득한 공인영어시험 점수 보유자
※ 토플 95점(Home Edition 불인정), IELTS 7.0, 토익 830점, 토익 스피킹 140점, 또는 오픽 IM3 이상
※ 2020.10.1. 이후 성적에 한하여 인정
4) 학칙에 의거 징계 받은 사실이 없는 자
5) Harvard Model Congress Asia 2023 컨퍼런스 전 기간 모두 참여 가능한 자(전 일정 참여 불가자는 지원 선발 불가)
