Digital Media and Communication Manager
The Center for Quantum Nanoscience (QNS) is engineering the quantum future to ensure Korean leadership in the dawning quantum era. QNS was established in 2017 by the Institute for Basic Science at Ewha Womans University.
QNS is an English-language workplace with a diverse, international team immersed in a culture of exploration working to engineer the quantum future.
Whom are we looking for?
Our team is seeking a Digital Media and Communication specialist to support our team’s IT needs and effectively share our discoveries with the public. Qualified candidates must be bilingual (Korean-English) at a professional level in order to: manage our internal IT Services (WordPress websites, Dropbox, GSuite, Smartsheet accounts); effectively communicate our science to taxpayers and scientists through Social Media Channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Kakao, and YouTube); and develop graphics for scientific publications.
Requirements:
- English and Korean language proficiency at professional level: you will need be able to communicate, write, and complete official documentation independently;
- Experience in WordPress website development and maintenance: you will need to support our official and internal website as well as websites for our conferences and other events;
- Experience in managing accounts in GSuite, Dropbox Business and similar products;
- Experience in Social Media strategy and execution: Social Media strategy/ content preparation/ promotion;
- Graphic Design knowledge: Color Wheel Theory, Grid, Branding; Adobe products skills: you will need to prepare digital and printing content using our corporate style.

- Time-management and planning;
Natural science background preferred but not required.
