이지희(李知姬) 교수

이지희 프로필 사진
이지희 교수는 의학과/생리학교실 소속 교수로 폐손상 질환 및 염증 종결 분야 연구의 권위자이다. 이화의대 졸업 후, 미국 웨스트버지니아 의대에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 미국 국립유대헬스(NJH)와 국립직업안전헬스(NIOSH)에서 교환교수로 국제공동연구를 진행한바 있다. 2010년 조직손상방어연구센터(MRC)를 이끌며  조직손상 개선 기술 개발 연구를 선도해왔으며, 2020년 이화의대 MRC 염증-암 미세환경 연구센터(한국연구재단 기초의과학분야 선도연구센터)가 재선정됨으로 현재 센터장을 역임하고 있다. 수상경력으로 2008년, 2010년 교육과학기술부가 주최하는 기초연구우수성과에 선정된 바 있다. 2016년 기초연구 진흥과 기초과학발전에 기여한 공로로 미래창조과학부 장관상을 수여 받은 바 있다.  2017년에는 우수한 연구성과를 보인 교수를 대상으로 하는 '이화펠로우'에 선정된 바 있다. 주요 연구성과로 호흡기 및 면역분야 최우수 저널인 <American J. Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine>, <European Respiratory J.>,  <Cellular & Molecular Immunology> , <Mucosal Immunol>, <Sci Signaling>, <Cell Death & Disease> 등에 교신저자로 논문을 발표한 바 있다.
