	Globalization, sweeping through the world in late 20th century has jettisoned the importance of "International Education" at Ewha. At the dawn of the 21st Century, Ewha Womans University established a new mission to educate and train women leaders around the world, not just Korea. Ewha's Office of global affairs, founded in 1985, has been re-established, broadening its mission to render services and show leadership in Ewha's globalized educational system. OGA focuses its efforts on developing programs that recruit top international students to Ewha's various degree programs, as well as to OGA's non-degree exchange and special programs. OGA's administration also works toward global standards to best assist our international education.
