Academics
Almost all courses offered at Ewha are open to exchange and visiting students. Courses are typically worth three credits, meeting 3 hours a week. Full-time students are required to take a minimum of 9 credits to a maximum of 18 credits per semester.

Housing
The IEI assists students with housing. On-campus housing is available at the International House dormitory. The dormitory is centrally heated and air-conditioned, and both single and double occupancy rooms are available. Students applying for on-campus housing are required to pay housing application fee of 60 USD as soon as possible to reserve their room.

One letter of recommendation from an academic advisor, department chair or job supervisor
Copy of passport
Medical clearance (for students applying for on-campus housing, results of a general medical check-up including tuberculosis and B type hepatitis)
Copy of health insurance certificate (covering major injuries and illnesses in Korea)
Three passport-size photos
Certificate of deposit balance from a bank (minimum 10,000 USD): This is a Korean government requirement, and is not required for Korean citizens or exchange students.

Visa
A valid student visa (D-2) is required for all international students. Upon acceptance at Ewha, students will be issued with an Acceptance Letter and a Certificate of Admission.
